Biography

Charlotte was born about 1778, presumably Massachusetts or England. In the 1880 Census, one of Charlotte's children (Persis) says her mother was born in Massachusetts, and another of her children (Nathaniel) says his mother was born in England (and a third child surviving to 1880 says he didn't know).

First married Peleg Eddy Sr. about 1797. In his 04 February 1798 will, Peleg says: "I will to my beloved wife her third of my estate during the time she remains my widow also my Mare, red cow and two sheeps with one half of my household furniture to be her own for...."

She married (2nd) on 14 March 1800 to John Kimbell.
