The following settlement likely gives a name for the wife and widow of Sir Miles de Etton (Elizabeth, living 14 April 1440). More research needs to be conducted to ascertain her surname, etc.

Title: Settlement made before marriage
Description: Of Robert, son and heir of John Roos of Laxton Esq, and Elizabeth, daughter of William Midilton of Stockeld, Esq, by which it is agreed that William will pay John 145 marks, and that John will enfeoff Robert and Elizabeth with lands to the yearly value of 10 marks in North Deighton, and after the death of Dame Elizabeth Etton lands to the value of 5 marks, and that he will leave lands of the value of 100 marks to the use of Robert after the deaths of life tenants. John will repay the 145 marks if Robert divorces Elizabeth, or £46. 8s. 4d. if there are no children living when Elizabeth is 42, and will provide for the marriage of daughters if Robert dies leaving no sons. William is to have governance of Robert and Elizabeth until Robert is 14, and both are to be bound by statute merchant in 200 marks.
