There is no credible evidence to suggest her last name was Briscoe, or that she was a daughter of Nathaniel Briscoe. She was previously connected to [Briscoe-278|Nathaniel Briscoe] and [Gunn-333|Mehitable Gunn], who were not a couple.

Is there any possibility that Abigail is truly a FENN and not a BRISCOE? Dates work for Briscoe, and since there are a few comments about how no one can find support for the Briscoe option . . .I saw two dates of death for Nathaniel Briscoe, one rending it impossible to be Abigail's father if she was born in 1760, and the other, suggestive of a new generation (1783), with the authors (Milford Settlers article) being completely unsure.
