Biography

Isaac is the son of Thomas Upton (1763-1836 to Thomas Upton and Mary Buckwell) and Martha Bartholomew (1767-1809 to Joseph Bartholomew and an unknown mother), both of Beckley, Rye, East Sussex, England^[1]

He was christened on 8 June 1800 at All Saints Church Beckley, Sussex ^[2]

On 20 July 1825 - at All Saints Church in Beckley - he married Harriet Russell, daughter of Isaac Russell (1757-1831) and Mary Fairal Noakes (1759-1821), both of Beckley, Rye, East Sussex, England. They had been married 19 June 1776, also at All Saints in Beckley.^[4]

He died in NSW, Australia in 1873. ^[5]
