Biography

Solomon was born in 1850, the son of David Urie. Solomon was married to Louisa Edith “Jane” Salladay on August 6, 1870 in Perlee, Iowa, United States. ^[1] She passed away in 1889 a few days after giving birth.

After Louisa's death Solomon married Emma (Moores/Moore) Griffith in 1893.^[2]

Solomon died in a mining accident in 1901.^[3] He is buried in Eldon Cemetery in Eldon, Wapello County, Iowa, USA; plot: Section 2, row 23, grave 9.^[4]
