Elizabeth (Urquhart) Urquhart Dowager of Gight was born in Scotland.

Elizabeth Urquhart was born about 1654, the daughter of Patrick Urquhart of Lenthentie and Lady Margaret Ogilvy.^[1]

Elizabeth Urquhart married firstly, to George Gordon of Gight and father of her daughter Marie.^[2][3]

Elizabeth Gordon married secondly,^[4] to Major General Thomas Buchan, a friend of her brother Adam, in 1704.^[5][2]

Elizabeth passed away about 1710 at Fyvie Castle near Turriff in Aberdeenshire and Thomas inherited Fyvie Castle^[6] from her, where he later passed away.
