Aart Van De Streek was born December 24, 1871 in Oldebroek, Gelderland, Netherlands. Son of Beert van de Streek and Hendrikje Tuinman.[1]
Aart (1st) married Grietje van de Kamp March 10, 1898 in Oldebroek. [2]
His (2nd) marriage was to Gerritje Kwakkel July 5, 1901 in Oldebroek[3]
Aart Vande Streek emigrated to North America on January 26, 1903 with his family, his mother, and his brother Hendrik, traveling on the ship "Rijndam" (aka "Ryndam"), arriving February 12th, 1903 on Ellis Island, with final destination Waupun, Wisconsin and their cousin Eibert Flier.
Aart was naturalized September 26, 1919 at the Circuit Court, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin.[4]
Gerritje passed away 1913 and Aart married (3) Gerrtje (Sterken) Vis January 28, 1928.[citation needed]
Aart "Arthur" Vande Streek died Febuary 24, 1942.

Arthur Vande Streek, sr., Died on Tuesday; Funeral Will Be Friday Afternoon
Arthur Vande Streek, sr., 70, died at 6:10 a.m. Tuesday at his home at 410 West Main Street, He had been ill for some time. Mr. Vande Streek was born Dec. 25, 1871, in the Netherlands. He was married 14 years ago to Mrs. Gertrude Vis. The Vande Streeks formerly farmed in the vicinity of Alto. Survivors include the widow, and the following sons and daughters, Bert Vande Streek, Mrs. Herman Hopp, Mrs. John Schouten of 550 East Main Street, Mrs. Donald Killam, William Vande Streek, Arthur Vande Streek, jr., all of Waupun, Mrs. John Hull of Alto; two step-children, Mrs. ALbertha Vis at home and Henry Vis of Alto; two brothers, John Vande Streek of Waupun and Henry Vande Streek of St. Cloud, Minn.; one sister, Mrs. S. Bille, of Waupun; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the Hinkamp and Kohls funeral home at 2 p.m. in the Alto Reformed church. The Rev. E.H. Tanis of Waupun will officiated. Burial will be in the Alto cemetery.(Source: Find A Grave)
