Pierce Vaughan was a patriot in Virginia during the American Revolution. The DAR states: Service Description: 1) furnished supplies. His wife is Faitha Pennington. Their son Dixon m Susannah. [1]

25 Nov 1754. Peirce Vaughan gave to his Brother James Vaughan 220 acres on Three Creeks in Brunswick and Sussex Counties. Gift. In parishes of St. Andrew and Albemarle. Adjacent Barlow, Wyche, Edwards, Elizabeth Eldridge. Witnesses: Andrew Troughton, Howard Hurst, Precilla Vaughan. Recorded on 27 Feb, 1756. [5] [6]

14 Jun 1756. Thomas Loyall and His Wife Rebecca Loyall sold to William Wyche 141 acres on South Side of Meherrin River, Brandy Cr. £10. Adjacent his own corner, Simms, Col. Nathaniel Edwards, John Randal, Brandy Creek. Witnesses: Edward Coffey, Pierce Vaughan, James Cleaveland. Recorded 22 Jun 1756. [7] [8]

31 Mar 1757. Pierce Vaughan sold to John Butts 202 acres. £30. Part of a patent to William Vaughan 1 June 1750. Witnesses: James Macklin Jr., Fed’k Maclin, Edward Goodrich, William Christie. Recorded on 26 Apr 1757. [9] [10]

22 May 1759. John Butts gave to Peter Butts, Son 202 acres. Gift. Tract Pearce Vaughan sold to John Butts 31 Mar, 1757. Witnesses: None. His wife Sarah released her dower rights. Recorded on 22 May, 1759. [11] [12]

7 Feb 1786, 27 July 1786. Will of: Pearce Vaughan.
