Biography

Sarah Ann or Anna (Annie) was born in 1873 to John and Catherine (or Katherine aka Katie) Vencill in Russell County, Virginia.^[1] She is listed as Sarah A. on both: the 1880 Census with her parents and on social security records for her daughter Narcie Elizabeth Lester Chapman (see below) although most records indicate she went by Anna or Annie. She passed away in 1958.
