Sara was born to Nathan Vernoy and his wife, Jeneke Hoornbeeck. She was baptized 1783 August 31st at the church in Wawarsing with Conelius Vernoy and her cousin, Maria Bovier, as witnesses [1], Her siblings are Jenneke (Bevier) [2], Jacob [3], Maria (DeWitt, Oosterhoudt) [4], Dirck [5], Elizabeth (Black) [6], and Nathan [7].
