Biography

Samuel Vincent was born in 1871 in Kentish Town, London, England. His birth was registered in Pancras, London, England. [1] Samuel was the son of Samuel Vincent and Clarinda Webb. In 1881, Samuel was residing with his parents and siblings in St Just in Roseland, Cornwall, England. His father was a "boatman (on seas)". [2] At the age of 20, Samuel was still living with his parents and siblings in St Just in Roseland, Cornwall, but by now he was earning his keep as a labourer. [3]

Marriage

In 1897, Samuel married Jessie Butt, in Fulham, London, England. [4] In 1901, the couple were living in Toxeth Park in Lancashire, England. Samuel was a machine driller working on safe locks. The couple had a son, Osbourne, who was less than a year old. [5]

By 1911, Samuel and his family, which included six children, were living in Camden Town, London, England. [6]
