Obituary

Eugene Louis Volcik, 85, of Winnie, Texas, died Friday, December 5, 2014.

He was born on May 7, 1929, in El Campo, to Mary Raaz and Frank Louis Volcik.

Eugene worked at Texas Gulf Sulphur Company for 34 years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Eugene enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, and sharing with friends and family.

He is survived by his daughters, Valerie Leger and her husband, Mike, Marianne DeYoung and her husband, Kenny, and Darla Lemaire; son, Wesley Volcik and his wife, Lisa; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Eugene is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Eileen Volcik; sisters, Emma Waligura and Mary Stehno; brother, John Volcik; and son-in-law, Michael Lemaire.

Interment: Fairview Cemetery, Winnie, Texas
