Biography

Lucy Elsabein Vortmann was born on 10 May 1783.

Diedrich and Lucie Schone immigrated to the United States, arriving on the ship Olbers in New Orleans in 1837.^[1]

She passed away in 1846. Her birthdate is calculated from her cemetery inscription:

SCHONE, Lucy E. Died 14 Aug 1846 63 Yr 3 Mo 4 Da Wife of Diedrick Schone^[2]
