George Hazen Votour was born on February 14, 1861 in Saint John, St. John, New Brunswick.
George married Alfretta Mitton (born on July 8, 1890 in Berryton, Hillsborough, Albert; daughter of Calvin Gilbert Mitton and Phoebe Jane (Crandall) Mitton).
George died on January 3, 1955 in Hillsborough, Albert, New Brunswick, Canada, aged 93. He was buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Moncton, Westmorland County, New Brunswick.[1]
