Biography
Daughter of James Waite and Frances Crossman.
In 1891, Robert (56) and Annie (52) were living with Hugh A. (17), Drucie (12) Garfield 8, Lorena 5, George 3 and Harry, 2. Robert and Annie were living with Lorena, George, Harry, Jessie, Robert and Nelly in 1901.
There passed peacefully away at O'Leary on Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 6th, Mrs. Ellis, Sr., aged 57 years. Mrs. Ellis was widow of the late Robert Ellis Sr of O'Leary, a prominent business man of the bove place who died some 3 years ago. Mrs Ellis had been in failing health for the past six months. The daughters are Mrs. Emile Guhman of Mount Carmel, Illinois (Lorene or Irene); Mrs Alvin Huestis of Unionvale (Jessie) and Miss Nellie at home. The sons are Harry, George and Robert, all prominent and progressive farmers of O'Leary. The surviving sisters are Mrs Chas McDougall and Mrs James Robinson, Mrs James McDougall and Mrs James McArthur. The brothers are William, John and Charles Waite of Springfield.
