Waldoop, 46, farmer, Maimed, crippled, bedridden or otherwise disabled, born AL, father born NC, mother born TN. Next door to Jane Douglas, 26 and her mother and two small children (We show these as Manning and Malissa's children. Census shows same dwelling, seperate household for Malissa).

1880 Malissa Jane Douglas household, U. S. Census, Tuscaloosa Co., AL, population schedule. Beat 4, Enumerated 18 Jun 1880, E. D. 152, Dwelling 57, Family 58. Jane Douglass, 26, born AL, father born KY, mother born TN; Sarah Douglass, 53, widowed, self and both parents born AL; Lenn or Tenn (male), 3, born AL; Preston C., 9/12, born Oct 1879 in AL; Hiram Jenkins, 52, farmer, self and both parents born AL. This looks like Malissa living with her mother and two small children with Hiram Jenkins running the farm. They are all in the dwelling with Manning Waldrop, but are in a seperate dwelling and claim no kinship to the "head of household" (Manning?).
