Major Alexander Walker served in the United States Civil War. Enlisted: Oct 15 1862 Mustered out: Nov 28, 1864 Side: USA Regiment(s): Co. A, 7th Regiment, Michigan Cavalry
He graduated from Union College in Schenectady and practiced law in Niles, Michigan. When the Civil War broke out, he enlisted and was commissioned a Captain in Company A, Michigan 7th Calvary. He was promoted to Full Major in 1864. He mustered out in November 1864. [2][3]
