Thomas Julian Walker was born in Bellville, Illinois on 12 March, 1856.
He died, 13 January, 1911, possibly in his last known town of residence, Littleton, New Hampshire.
- He was page in 42d Congress; - 1874-1880: Railroad accounting in St. Louis - 1880-1881: Manager at New York of St. Louis "Journal of Commerce" - Chief Clerk, Agricultural Division, tenth census ; - March, 1883, to December, 1886: Clerk to U. S. Railroad Commissioners - January, 1887, he removed to New Hampshire and established "The Record" at Plymouth. - 1891-1893 - World's Fair Commissioner - One of the originators of the New England Summer Resort Association and active in the publications of the organization. 1895 he was appointed Bank Commissioner for term of three years and removed to Concord, where he resided through his term of office. 1898 - He is now editor of the "Republic-Journal," and has resided in Littleton
