Biography
Dorcas Wallace was born in Bristol, Sullivan county, Tennessee, a daughter of Thomas Wallace and Rebecca Milligan. Her year of birth has been estimated to be as early as 1785 [1] and as late as 1796 [2]
Research Notes
Sources are not definite on mother of the later children of Felix Kennedy (1779-1840), including Dorcus Ann (Kennedy) Means (1818-1854). There is conflicting information on whether mother was Dorcas Wallace (abt.1785-1838) or Elizabeth (Long) Kennedy (abt.1779-)
- Letter from Stella Reeder, 1944 states that she moved to Alabama with her brother Thomas where she died, no issue.
