Mary was born in 1813 to Patrick Wallace and Mary Hennessy.

She passed away in 1883.

Miss Mary Wallace, sister to Mrs. James Hasburgh, died last Friday noon at the residence of James Hasburg. She had reached the ripe old age of 70 years, and had always been a strong member of the Catholic church. She had her habit or shroud made thirty year ago. She had never been married. In her days she was a member of a society in the St. Xaviers church at St. Louis. She was loved and respected by all who knew her. She was buried Sunday, the 11th inst. Her remains were taken to the Irish Catholic church and after high mass she was conveyed to the cemetery and interred. High mass was said for her at the Irish Catholic church on the following day by Rev. Father Dempsey. Her sister. Mrs. James Hasburgh, was unable to attend the funeral on account of being very sick. The funeral was largely attended. The many friends of the deceased will greatly miss her. May she rest in peace.
