Biography

Alexander was born in 1902. He was the son of John Wallace and Kate Wilson. He married Martha (Mattie) Gemmell Wallace on 27 March 1928. The couple had two children, a son, Wilson Gemmell Wallace and a daughter, Winsome Isobel Wallace, (married name Leadbetter). He passed away in Manurewa, Auckland in 1972, was cremated and his ashes interred in Oamaru cemetery.
