Biography
William was born about 1864 in County Armagh. [1]
William and Margaret married at St Anne's Parish Church of Ireland with Robert Spears and Sarah Wallace as witnesses. William was a tailor, living in Belfast and his father was John Wallace, a reed-maker. [2]
In 1911, William and Margaret were living at 268 Springfield Road, Belfast with their children Agnes, William John, David Samuel, Robert McGahey, Susannah and Margaret Jane. They had been married 24 years, and had 8 children, seven of whom were still living. Their nieces Eva Spiers and Esther Bell Spiers were also in the household. William was a tailor. [1]
