  • From Wallis Family - - "The James Wallis family of Tilford, S.C. moved to Trigg County in 1810 and settled on a farm three miles S.E. of Cadiz, Kentucky. He was of Irish Decendents and a school teacher. He and wife, Ellen Young, had several children."
