Biography

William Marshall Wallner was born on 28 Oct 1916 in Cicero, Cook, Illinois.[1] He was a son of John Wallner and Nellie Bradbury.

According to the 1920 US Census William was living in Cicero Township Cicero Precinct 19, ED 55, Cook, Illinois with his parents, John and Nellie, and siblings John, Edna, Nellie and Grandmother Annie Bradbury. William's father was an Engineer for the Railroad. [2]

According to the 1930 US Census he was living Fontana, San Bernardo, California with is father John, mother Nellie, siblings John , Enda, Nelliw, Helen, Mary, Edward, and James. William's father was a farmer and shope Swedish in the home.[3]

Alice Eula (Coleman) Wallner (1918-1972) and William married about 1942.

Child Bill Wallner (1916-2003)

According to the 1940 US Census he was living in Riverside Judicial Township, Riverside, California with his Alice. William worked a an awning maker for Truck and Awning Co. and Alice as a hairdresser.[4]

Williams served as a Private in the US Army during World War II enlisting in Los Angeles, California on 11 May 1943,[5]

He died on 7 Jan 2003 in Hemet, Riverside, California.[6]William is buried in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, Riverside, California.[7][8]
