Biography

Moses Walters was born on 02 Aug 1828 in St Albans, New South Wales, Australia as the fifth child of Aaron Walters and Susannah Lellemont. ^[1]

He had seven siblings, namely: Elizabeth, Jane Eliza, Susannah, Aaron, Sarah, Ann, and Harriett. He died on 14 May 1899^[2] in St Albans, New South Wales, Australia. When he was 19, he married Sarah Jurd, daughter of Daniel James Jurd and Elizabeth Douglas, on 13 Jun 1848^[3] in MacDonald River, New South Wales, Australia.

Mr Moses Walters, one of the oldest residents of the M'Donald River, died on Sunday. He had been in the locality for many years and has reared a large family. Mr William Walters, of Leamington, near Merriwa, is we believe one of the sons of the deceased gentleman.
