Biography

Lawrence Robert Ward was born on 29 July 1899 on farm of his parents at Bruce Township, Todd Co., Minnesota, USA.[1][2] He appeared on the census of 1 June 1900 in the household of his parents, Israel Hudson Ward and Berdina Mary (Lewis) Ward, at Bruce Township, Todd County, Minnesota.[3] He appeared on the census of 21 April 1910 in the household of his parents at Bruce Township, Todd County, Minnesota. [4] He appeared on the census of 6 Jan. 1920 in the household of his parents at Bruce Township, Todd County, Minnesota. [5]

He married Calista Beulah “Bea” Clark, daughter of Hoyt Seth Clark and Alta Grace (Walker) Clark, on 2 April 1924 at Todd County, Minnesota.[6][2][7]

Lawrence died on 10 October 1991 at Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota, at age 92[1] and was buried at Grand Army of the Republic Cemetery, Burtrum, Todd County, Minnesota.[7] His memorial has photos and links to those of family members.[2]
