Joel was born in 1801 in North Carolina. He is the son of Abraham Warford and Nancy Rebecca Skinner.

He married Nancy

He was a farmer when he and Nancy appeared on the census of 22 October 1850 at Estill County, Kentucky. His parents were listed close to them.[1]

He passed away in 1852.
