While there is a second marriage documented here for Prudence, it seems confusing and possibly conflated, now, mostly due to the the image of her tombstone on Find A Grave, which shows that she died 5 Aug 1836, having lived 74 years, 7 months, and 26 days, which equates to a birth date of 10 Dec 1761. Thus, the death information shown now is for "another" persona. Preliminary analysis shows that Prudence marred a "Jonathan" Eldredge (1744-1790), and married second Nathan Bacon (1762-1817). Thus, the death and some of the children for the conflated Jonathan Eldredge has been removed, along with the 1836 death date.
Jonathan Eldridge named John Eldridge as well as Jonathan, Nathan and Elijah as sons in his will dated 1789. John and Nathan were noted as being under age 21.
