Biography
Joseph Warner, Sr. was born in 1701 in Windham, Windham County, Connecticut, the son of Andrew Warner (1670–1732) and Deborah Leffingwell (1674– ).
Joseph married Elizabeth E. Allen (1698–1767) on 4 Jun 1722 at Salem, Essex, Massachusetts. Their children were:
- Joseph Warner, Jr. (1724–1788)
- Andrew Warner (1725–1726)
- Elizabeth Warner (1727–1801)
- William Warner (1729–1799)
- Andrew Warner (1731–1753)
- Mary Warner (1733–1821)

Joseph passed away in 1767 in Windham and is buried in the Windham City Cemetery.
