Biography

Lafe Herbert Warnhoff, the son of Frederick Warnhoff (1863–1949) and Augusta Haack (1873–1931), was born on February 25, 1912 in Cuba, Crawford County, Missouri.

Lafe was counted in the January 1920 US Federal Census of Knobview Township, Crawford County, Missouri.

Lafe was counted in the April 1930 US Federal Census of Nameoki Village, Madison County, Illinois.

In April 1935 Lafe was living in Venice, Madison County, Illinois.

Lafe and Creola Eline Walls (1917-2001), the daughter of Earl J. Walls and Jennie Ellen Fox, were issued a marriage license about April 30, 1936 in Edwardsville, Madison County, Illinois. ^{The exact date and place of marriage is not known at this time. [1]}
