Biography

Sarah Warren was born in Middleborough, Massachusetts, on February 9, 1721-2, the daughter of Samuel and Elinor Warren.[1]

She married William Reed in Middleborough on June 24, 1740.[2].[3] [4]

William and Sarah had the following known children:[5]

  1. Priscilla, b December 8, 1742
  2. William, b January 4, 1744; m Mrs. Alice Richards September 22, 1763
  3. Benjamin, b January 29, 1746; m Mrs Abiah Macomber October 23, 1763
  4. Sarah, b January 15, 1748
  5. Elizabeth, b May 4, 1750; died young
  6. Israel, b March 7, 1752
  7. Elizabeth, b September 9, 1759
  8. Abner, b August 12, 1764

In 1776, she signed a receipt for her share of her husband's estate.[6]

She passed away between 27 April 1779 and 17 September 1783.[citation needed]
