John Keele sold William Stanley Jr. 326 acres on Town Creek, a branch of Smith River, on 31 March 1788. It is difficult to separate the children of William Jr. and his son William. There are additional records on the two families that need to be checked in order to properly separate their families.

William and Nancy are believed to have had the following children:
