was born in Illiopolis, Illinois, on Monday, June 3, 1895, the fifth daughter and tenth child of Benjamin Franklin Warren and Mary Ellen Cantrall.

1910 February 12 [14]  Newspaper article. Rose and her sister Verna attended a valentine party at the home of Mr and Mrs Thomas Hopwood in Athens. The home was decorated in a green and yellow color scheme. And they served a splendid seven-course supper.
