Edwin Washam, Benton Rt. 2, dies Saturday
BENTON, Ky. --- Edwin (Mike) Washam, 70, Benton Rt. 2, died at 6:30 a.m. Saturday at Marshall County Hospital.
A member of Benton First Missionary Baptist Church, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Louise Washam; a daughter, Mrs. Wanda Sue Jones, Paducah; four sisters, Mrs. Eddie Walston, Benton, Mrs. Irvan Jones, Benton, Mrs. Guy Mathis, Benton, Mrs. Ruby Crockett, Mayfield; a brother, Orville Washam, Paducah; seven grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Linn Funeral Home. The Revs. Rodney Travis and C. C. Brasher will officiate and burial will be in Benton Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. today.[2]
