Quarterly, vol. 62, No. 3 dated Sept. 197 4, p. 200, there is a note that "20 September 1752 Thomas Denwood, husband of Mary Denwood deceased, la te of Somerset County, appoints Anthony Bacon his attorney" and then "on May 10, 1753 Thomas Denwood of Somerset County, husband of Mary his la te wife, one of the daughters of John Waters deceased, and Anthony Bac on of London, attorney of Thomas Denwood and administrator of Mary Denwoo d, release to Thomas Cooper their rights in William Marriott's estate."
