Biography

William Henry Watts was born on 1 Jun 1873, in the Township of Etobicoke (later the western part of the city of Toronto), in the Division of Markham, York County, Ontario. He was the son of Rev. John Henry Watts, a Methodist Minister, and Elizabeth Norsworthy.^[1]

William Henry Watts married Hope Herron, daughter of James H. Herron and Helen L. Stratton, on 31 Aug 1904, in Puslinch, Wellington County, Ontario. The record of their marriage stated that he was an electrician. The marriage was solemnized by Rev. William Robertson, at the manse of what was probably the bride's Presbyterian church in Puslinch.^[2] They had three children:

William Henry Watts died at the age of 77, on 12 Sep 1950, in Vancouver, British Columbia.^[7] He was buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Burnaby, Greater Vancouver Regional District, British Columbia, Canada.^[8]
