Biography

Henry Pomfret Webb was born on 25 March 1857 in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee. He was the son of James Lewis Webb and Arianna Shapard.[1]

In the 1860 census he was three years old and living with his recently-widowed mother and nine siblings in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee.[2]

In the 1870 census he was 14 years old and living in the household of his sister Mary Helen (Webb) Moore and brother-in-law Matthew Joseph Moore, in Platte County, Missouri, along with his mother and three other siblings.[3]

In the 1880 census he was 23 years old and living in the household of his sister Mary Helen (Webb) Moore and brother-in-law Matthew Joseph Moore, in Carpinteria, Santa Barbara County, California.[4]

In 1882 he was a registered voter in Carpinteria.[5]

Henry Pomfret Webb died on 11 January 1896 in Carpinteria.[6]
