Biography
William, son of Andrew Webster & Jean Croom, was born or baptised on 11 May 1816 in Montrose, Forfarshire, Scotland.[1]
William came to Wellington, New Zealand on the Bengal Merchant, sailing from Glasgow on 30th October 1839 and arriving at Port Nicholson on 20th February 1840.
William (34) married Annabella Gillies (22) (born in 1828 in Hokianga) on 20 March 1851 in Rawene, New Zealand.[2]
William died on 23 November 1904 in Te Mata, Hokianga, New Zealand, aged 88.[3] [4][5][6][7]
