Biography

Hannah Wellman was Ezra's first wife. Their children were Samuel who died young, a 2nd Samuel who married Betsey Webster of Weld, Hiram who married Betsey's sister Hannah Webster, and Rachel who died at about age 18. Following Hannah Wellman's death from falling from a wagon on 29 July 1837, Ezra subsequently married Jane Winship on February 15, 1838
