Biography
Francis was born in 1845. She is the daughter of Stokes Wells and Rachael Williams. In 1860, the family was living in Duplin County, North Carolina.[1]
She married Joseph T Wells, thus her maiden name and married name was Wells. Joseph appears to have married her sister Harriet after Frances died.
She passed away in 1974. Burial was in the Wells Family Cemetery (Stoakes) in Rose Hill, Duplin County, North Carolina.[2]
