Biography

Martha was born in 1858. [1]

On the 1861 Census Martha was living with her parents, 4 siblings and grandmother, Martha Davies at Wern Crescent, Llanelly.[2]

On the 1871 Census she was living with her parents and siblings at 64 Ann Street, Llanelly.[3]

She married Edward Henry Rees on 28 September 1875. He was 22, a widower and an Inn keeper at the Swansea Castle Inn, Llanelly. The witnesses were Llewellyn Arthur and Margaret Arthur. [4]

Martha married Thomas Vincent Lloyd on 7 May 1881 in Dafen. [5]

Martha died in January 1908. She was buried on 31 January 1908 in the parish of St Paul, Llanelli. Her address was given as the Swansea Castle Hotel, Llanelly. [6]
