Biography
Robert is the son of Bazaleel and Nancy (McIntyre) Wells. He married Eliza Ann Carl/Carle (1825-1895), the daughter of John and Rebecca Carl.[1] Among their children are:
- Virginia, m. Mr. Wells
- Henry Clay, b. 1853; d. 16 Dec 1923
Robert bought a 232 acre farm in the Buffalo District of Brooke County from Lemuel Beck. After the death of Eliza, Robert married Katherine whom he called "Kate" in his will.
