Biography
Henry was born in Connecticut in 1801 and was but 3 years old when his family moved to Ohio in 1804. He worked with his father and brother in the firm of Stow & Wetmore which greatly contributed to the prosperity of Stow and Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio in the pioneering days.
On December 8, 1830, he married Eliza Bradford Price. They had two children:
- Henry W Wetmore (b-1834)
- George P Wetmore (b-1836)
Henry and Eliza outlived both of their children. Henry died in 1892 in Cuyahoga Falls.
