The census entries state he was a carpenter. George owned Salt Lake Hard-wood Flooring Service for 45 years. He was a member of the Tooele Gem and Mineral Society. His favorite pastime was fishing.

He passed away 15 Feb 2002 in Salt Lake City. ^[2]
