Philip was born about 1876 in Suton, Wymondham, Norfolk. He was the son of Leonard Wharton and Elizabeth Banham.
In 1901 he is found living as a lodger in Damsgate Street, Wymondham, listed as a Butcher.[1]
He married Emma Margaret Batley in 1907 in Wymondham.[2]
After their marriage the family are found living at Birdewell St Wymondham and Phillip is still listed as a butcher.[3]
He passed away on 10 Jan 1943 in Holgate Farm, 28 Bunwell St, Bunwell, Norfolk. [4]
