Sarah Whatmough (married name Wilson) was born in 1845 at Plenty River, Victoria, Australia, daughter of Mary (Hill) Whatmough and Robert Whatmough.^{[citation needed]}

She married Joseph Wilson (20) on 12 March 1866 in Eltham, Victoria.^[1] Their children were:

• Rosalie Alma Wilson (1877–1944)
• James Emmet Wilson (1884?–1949)
• Charles Walter Burgess Wilson (1887?–1980)

Sarah died on 15 July 1934 at Diamond Creek, Victoria, aged 89 years.^[2][3][4]
