Biography
This Mary Wheeler, b. 06 Nov 1765 @ Stonington, Connecticut, was the eighth child of Paul Wheeler and Lucy (Swan) Wheeler.
She married 13 Oct 1782 @ Stonington, Connecticut, Luther Avery. They lived at Stonington, where they raised their family of 9 children during the timeframe through 1808; their final child died in childhood:
- ix Hannah Emeline Avery (08 Nov 1808 - 03 Oct 1813)
Two others of their children did not marry or have children: i Luther Avery (27 Jun 1784 - 04 Aug 1853) II Nathan Avery (19 Dec 1786 - 11 Apr 1848)
