Bertie Amos Whipple was born in Goffstown, New Hampshire in 1876, the son of Amos Whipple and Olive Kidder. Bert and Ethel Berry, a widow, married in Goffstown in 1906. They had no children. He was a farmer in Goffstown and a dairy worker in Somerville, Massaschusetts. Bert died in Goffstown (Grasmere) in 1929.
