PFC Gary Whipple was Killed in Action during the Vietnam War.
Gary Norman Whipple was born on November 12, 1948 in Claremont, New Hampshire, United States. He was the son of Norman Whipple and Madelene Colburn. Gary had two brothers, Brian and Dana and one sister, Judi.
Private First Class Gary Norman Whipple served with C CO, 2ND BN, 18TH INFANTRY, 1ST INF DIV, USARV, Army of the United States. His tour of duty began on November 9, 1968.
Private Whipple was killed in action in Binh Duong, Vietnam on December 4, 1968.
He is honored on the Vietnam Veterans Wall of Faces, Panel 37W, Line 43.
Burial
Union Cemetery, Claremont, New Hampshire, USA.
