Research Notes
In both the 1913 and 1930 electoral rolls, a Margaret Mary Whipps was residing with Francis. She had disappeared by the 1934 electoral roll. I have searched for a death registration on NSW BDM in the years 1930-1936, using variations of the surname (Whips, Wipps, Whipp, Wipp, W*ps, W*p). I have also searched Trove looking for a death, funeral or obituary notice, using the same surname variations. Believing that Margaret was the first wife of Francis, I have also searched for a marriage registration, in the years 1900-1915. (Jones-98694 07:11, 30 January 2023 (UTC))
